5. Day 16: East Meet West

Every Day it seems we can choose to see disharmony and war or feel the pull of our Oneness.  This morning I asked the Holy Spirit if there is a movement, longing and yearning  in the East for the West as there seems to be in the West for the East? HS:  Precious One, The longing is ever present.  It is the deep and infinite Love that can never be broken off from itself. It is the generational yearning for the dear pleasure of Presence in all things.  The universe does not need to disappear in any but a symbolic gesture.  Love and preciousness and longing for the Wholeness of Self is present...

5. Day 15: Feel Your GodSelf Shining

My walk in extending love to the fear of EVERY DAY is giving me time and space to allow notice of this body I am in.  It is easy for me to give much thought to lip color and shoe comfort, sparkly glasses and the best outfit for the job at hand but to be honest, I give little thought to my actual body.  I DO eventually give thought when my body is in pain or exhausted but my daily walk is giving me a a different kind of opportunity to be with my body.  Is it possible I am making friends with my body?  As I walk I send loving messages to my cells.  I can just imagine them thinking “This...

5. Day 14: Open Your Eyes In The Middle Of The Pain

We split everything, thinking it could be separated–was separated–but it is just different ways of seeing.  Or rather seeing and eyes closed.  When we are willing to open our eyes, to anything, in truth, in THIS moment, the blessings are immediate and transformational.  I saw a friend yesterday who is going through something unimaginably difficult. Yet she looked more alive, solid and clear than I have seen her for a long time.  A wrenching situation can bring the gift of clarity and awareness if you are willing to open your eyes in the middle of the pain.  This got me to...

5. Day 13: Love Named Robin

I was terribly saddened to hear of the death of Robin Williams yesterday.  It would seem that his death was by the choice that really is without choice.  Suicide is a clamor for peace, a call for love, a declaration of “I am finished now”.  There is already much talk about suicide, depression, mental illness combined with substance abuse and the moment is already being lost under a flurry of commentary of a life that was in deed gift to us all.   Of course I did not know Robin Williams personally in any way.  I have, over the years, thought how difficult it must have been to...

5. Day 12: The Body Grateful

My  walking every day is nearly effortless.  I am just “doing” it.  It is benefitting me in so many ways which I very grateful for……..yet, I find myself noticing that I am missing the longer quiet time I had to start the day.  I get “less” of this time and I can tell.  I will admit what I feel is not “bad” just different and I am not quite sure how I feel about it all. Me:  Holy Spirit, please clarify this for me, what do I need to see differently?  Thank you. HS:  Fear not the loss of any of what you desire.  Your desire is simply broadening...
