11. Day 7: 10 Things I Love About Me

One of the benefits of writing a daily blog is that I don’t need to put so much pressure on myself over the content/value/importance of each and every post. This is eerily mimicking daily life.  If I notice my life as a whole, any single day is just a part of something whole and beautiful and powerful.  When I look at the blog as a whole, it (and by association the writer, um, that’s me) is already a huge success. (Is this what I was really afraid of?  Finding out I am already a success???).   I showed up every day. Even the two or three days that I double posted or made one post...

10. Day 11: On Blogging Daily & Going Commando

I am only now beginning to glimpse how valuable this daily blog is to me.  I began with guidance, in this case the word “twelvemonth”.  Then twelvemonth revealed itself as a “Twelvemonth of Self Love”.  I already journal daily.  I am also composing a Holy Dictionary with the incredible and beautiful definitions I hear from Holy Spirit.  I write poetry because even my own wordiness gets in my way of expression and only the limits of a poem offers the relief of truth expressed.  I also wrote a blog called Salvation Chronicles when I was first testing out my voice,...

8. Day 10: Begin Practicing Clarity

Yesterday was so full I did not have time to sit quietly with you.  What message do you have for me today?   Speaking of Not-Knowing………I have questions of creation I want to surrender to All-Love.  Can I share my blog further afield?  Is it valuable to others? Can I publish in new and bigger ways and still remain in peace and joy? HS:  Clarity is not at the expense of peace and joy.   One quality of love does not preclude another.   You are asking for clarity.   Begin practicing clarity.   Ask for clarity then follow the guidance or practice given.   Not-Knowing and clarity...

7. Day 8: Telling The Truth

Soon after asking my self what my blog was really about, I received this beautiful note from a dear friend.  It was so an answer to my heart’s question I have to reprint as written. I recognized the Voice of Love instantly.  (the quote by Neale Donald Walsch was perfect as he is one of the first authors I ever read who shared God’s voice so directly) “Good Morning, Your blog is all about telling the truth and being fearless in the expression of the truth of your being…love. Blessings on your way to being fearless in all that you think, say & do. Much love always,...

7. Day 4: What Is My Blog About Anyway?

7. Day 4: What Is My Blog About Anyway?

My daughter asked me recently what my blog was about.  I faltered a bit because I thought she was reading it, therefore already knew. There I was caught in the headlights of a moment that called for honesty because I instantly was feeling less-than (no fault of my daughter who really only knows how to be honest).  I was a bit annoyed that it wasn’t obvious to her. Because of my commitment to honesty I had to ask myself, firstly, why was I annoyed with her not knowing?  Why did it matter to me?  Did her not knowing what my blog was about reflect on me in some way?  Am I not being clear...
